Salary:Package available of up to £40,000 including accommodation paid weekly plus tips
Duration:Permanent
Hours:48 hours time back in lieu for any extra hours worked
Days:5 days per week mixed shifts inlcuding a share of breakfast shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:13 bedrooms
Covers:Lunch: up to 50; Dinner: up to 60; Breakfast: up to 26; Functions: up to 150 - weddings
Food type:Gastro Pub using good local fresh produce - looking to gain accolades
Full-time chefs:4 chefs plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:own house available locally as part of the package
Job description:

Muckrach Country House Hotel is an 11 bedroom hotel situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, 30 minutes drive from Inverness.

We are looking for a head chef to join our team. This is a good opportunity for a chef to make a name for themselves and uphold and continue to build the reputation that we already uphold.

We are looking for someone that can take over the day-to-day running of the kitchen including health, safety and hygiene, rotas and menu planning.

Ideally you will have some rosette experience as we do plan to aim for and gain accolades to make Muckrach a destination hotel.

The kitchen has recently been refurbished and we have been awarded Taste our Best Award for 2017.

This position is working with an up and coming small group and there are great opportunities for career progression.
