Salary:From £30,000 negotiable depending on experience, paid 4 weekly. Possible bonus scheme to be discussed.

Days:5 days out of 7 - mixed shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)

Covers:Lunch: None; Dinner: up to 60; Breakfast: up to 60; Functions: up to 150 - 2/3 weddings per week
Food type:Wedding meals, 5/5/5 and bar menu
Full-time chefs:3 at full strength but currently 2 chefs and kitchen porter

Job description:

I am recruiting for a 30 bedroom hotel located in Biggar, 33 miles from Edinburgh and 47 miles from Glasgow.

I would be looking for an experienced head chef to join a small and friendly team.

As head chef you will be in charge of the day-to-day running of the kitchen including health and safety and hygiene, stock control and ordering.

You will be required to create your own menu.

Great opportunity to work in a beautiful location.

They are looking to have a full team of 3, at the moment they have 2.
