Salary:£36,000 - £40,000 negotiable depending on experience plus bonus
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: 150; Dinner: 350; Breakfast: 80; Functions: 80
Food type:Fresh gastro pub and restaurant plus very busy bar meals
Full-time chefs:8 in peak season
Accommodation:Own room in the hotel available as part of the package
Job description:

I am recruiting a permanent head chef for a 21 bedroom hotel situated 9 miles from Portree the main town on the Isle of Skye.

This is an excellent opportunity for any chef to showcase their skills. Using as much of the world-class local produce on the menu as possible.

The position is ideal for a candidate who loves using fresh seafood, with experience of running a large team of chefs.

The hotel has been developing over the past few years, and will continue to do so, in the pursuit of great staff and customer satisfaction.

As head chef you will be in charge of the day-to-day running of the kitchen including health, safety and hygiene, menu planning and stock control.

This position is available from the beginning of September for the right candidate.
