Job description:

The Tolbooth is situated on the harbour wall in Stonehaven, we take advantage of this beautiful location and use fresh seafood landed in the harbour, and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate should have previous seafood experience and will be required to prepare and cook fresh local fish and seafood to a high standard. We have been a successful restaurant for many years but this opportunity allows you to re-asses the style of cooking and make your own mark on it through development of the menus.
As an experienced head chef you must also be able to:

get the best out of the kitchen team through motivation and development of their skills.
control all cost related to the kitchen in terms of staff and food
conform and keep all health and hygiene records up to date.
