Head Chef, Broadslap Farm Shop and Cafe, Perthshire

We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable Chef/Cook who can manage the day to day running of the Farm Shop and Cafe Kitchen.  An ideal opportunity for a Sous Chef to take on his/her first Head Chef role and to be part of the development of an exciting new business.  

Duties include the daily running of the kitchen, menu planning. ordering and working with local fresh produce where possible. Menu planning, achieving an agreeable GP, stock control,  taking responsibility for all paperwork, including temperature checks, cleaning schedule and Health, Safety and Hygiene.

The role is permanent, full time with weekend work, straight shifts and no evening work.

Due to the rural nature of Broadslap, own transport is a necessity.  Broadslap Farm Shop and Cafe is a nice friendly place for the successful candidate to progress his/her career, where you will be encouraged to influence the development of this new business.

The successful candidate must have attention to detail, have a passion for using fresh local produce, creating delicious dishes from scratch in house.  An interest in baking, producing cakes, sweet goodies, jams etc for the Farm Shop and Cafe would be a great advantage.  Its important you have good friendly customer skills and want to be part of a small hard working team.
