Salary:£540 per week paid weekly plus tips
Days:5 days a week - straight shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: up to 12; Dinner: up to 50 at the weekend; Breakfast: 16 - you will not be required to do breakfasts; Functions: none
Food type:Scottish using good quality locally sourced seafood, fish, meats and game
Full-time chefs:sole chef plus a kitchen porter and support from owners
Accommodation:Own ensuite room on site - charged at £50 per week - includes all bills
Job description:

Chefs In Scotland is recruiting for a sole chef for a small 8 bedroom lodge situated in the very north of Scotland situated 5 miles from Tongue on the route of the North Coast 500.

A well established business with new owners and in a good location. Looking for someone who can come in and take over the day-to-day running of the kitchen including menu development.

Using lots of fresh and very good quality local produce including seafood, game and local meats. Small menu to a good standard.

Lovely but rural location so own transport would be ideal but not essential.

This would suit a couple as we are looking for someone to work as a general assistant to do housekeeping, front of house and bar work also.

This position is available from the middle of April and the lodge will be re-opening on 30th April.

Position is available until the beginning of January with potential for it to become permanent for the right person.
