Salary:Salary of up to £35,000 negotiable depending on experience paid monthly with a share of tips plus a 10% bonus scheme.
Hours:40 hours per week
Days:3pm - 11pm - 5 days per week
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: 50 - 75 covers per day; Functions: occasional
Food type:Bistro/upscale casual dining/quirky bar snacks
Full-time chefs:2 chefs plus a kitchen assistant
Accommodation:Live out
Job description:

Chefs In Scotland is recruiting for a senior chef for a Restaurant based in Aberdeen. Part of a well established group and there is scope for promotion and further career progression.

The restaurant has got an excellent reputation for serving local produce and sustainable & zero-waste cooking so you must have good knowledge of seasonal ingredients, cooking techniques and a creative flair for writing menus.

Looking for someone with high standards and good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP.

You will have a lot of autonomy in the kitchen and would ideally have a good eye for detail and due diligence.

This would suit an ambitious Sous Chef looking to make their own impact on the city food scene, perhaps with aspirations of gaining accolades.

The position is available now but happy to wait for the right candidate also.
