Salary:£Negotiable depending on experience plus tips with possible bonus scheme, paid four weekly
Duration:Permanent
Hours:up to approximately 40 hours per week.
Days:5 days out of 7 - straight shifts.
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)

Covers:Dinner: Up to 100 over the day; Breakfast: None; Functions: Occasional
Food type:Good quality pub food all home-cooked where possible
Full-time chefs:2 chefs / cooks + Kitchen Porters when required
Accommodation:Possibly locally - own room with shared facilities. cost to be discussed.
Job description:

The Scottie Pub company is a well-established business situated in Edinburgh and Lothians.

We are looking for two chefs. One for The Scottie in Meadow bank, situated 1 mile from Edinburgh.

and a sous chef at The Clermiston close to Corstorphine.

working alongside and cover for head chef on time off.

We cook all our meals from fresh and everything is made from scratch where possible and we get our fish from the nearby port.

Working straight shifts and live in is potentially available.

happy for you to have input into Specials.

We are looking for hardworking, conscientious, team players who enjoy working for a living. We like to create a good working environment for people to work in.

You will be in charge of the kitchen including ordering, stock control and cleanliness.
