Job description:

Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels must be one of the most exciting hospitality businesses at the minute. Originally one of Scotland’s best known 4* resorts, we’ve now expanded to include a total of 10 hotels across Scotland and the North of England, with ambitions for more. Peebles Hydro and The Park are part of our portfolio, and we’re making some serious changes. About the role

Our chefs are flexible so you could be producing food for our Picnic Shop, Dining room and Lounge as well as busy functions: That means you’ll have a really varied workload. So if you’re passionate about fresh produce, enjoy the buzz of a busy kitchen in a business that’s transforming, then this is perfect for you.
Do you have what it takes?
As Chef de Partie, you’ll motivate the commis chef to prepare fresh food for up to 100 people on busy days, as well as banqueting for up to 100. You’ll have an eye for quality, consistency and for portion control. You’ll build good relationships with the front of house team to make sure our guests get exactly what they want, quickly.  A qualification in professional cookery would be great, and relevant industry experience at Chef de Partie level is essential. You’ll certainly have experience in the sauce, larder and veg corners, and if you’ve pastry experience, that’s even more exciting. You’ll be flexible as hours of work are variable to meet the needs of the business.
