Salary:£24,000 - £26,000 negotiable paid weekly plus a share of tips

Hours:approximately 45 hours per week

Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)

Covers:Lunch: to 50-70; Dinner: to 100 in season; Breakfast: up to 30; Functions: sometimes private functions to 100 but few

Full-time chefs:5 in the kitchen plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:Own room in very nice shared staff house available including TV and Wi-Fi - charged at £40 per week
Job description:

I am recruiting a sous chef for a 15 bedroom country inn situated near Keswick in the Lake District.

You will provide support and cover to the head chef who has been there for 5 years. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen during their time off.

Lovely place to live and work, lots to do on days off.

Friendly, small team in place with a small staff turnover.

Good quality bar meals using lots of fresh local produce and local suppliers.
