Job description:

The Worsley Arms is a privately operated 20 bedroom three star hotel in the centre of the North Yorkshire village of Hovingham, midway between the market towns of Malton and Helmsley. We are looking to recruit a Head Chef to join our team.

As well as appealing to the local market the hotel has a high proportion of returning guests who enjoy dining in the restaurant or the less formal Cricketer's bar. For the past two years the hotel has been awarded two AA rosettes for the quality of its food.

The hotel runs a monthly supper club and occasional wine and food evening which allows the kitchen to showcase new dishes.

Applications are welcome from existing Head Chefs or from experienced Sous Chefs looking to run their own kitchen.

The village of Hovingham is 20 miles north of York on the B1257, midway between the market towns of Malton and Helmsley. The hotel is located in the centre of the village.
