Job description:

I am recruiting for an 11 bedroom hotel situated in the North East, close to the Scottish Border.

Looking for a head chef to join and lead the stable team at this family owned and run establishment. Working in a well-equipped kitchen, you will have full autonomy including menu planning and health, safety and hygiene including the paperwork that goes with it.

Good opportunity for someone to make a name for themselves with scope for developing the business down the line.

Situated in an excellent location for using lots of local suppliers and local produce from the area.

You will be in charge of developing and mentoring the more junior members of the team alongside the other senior members of the kitchen.

This position is available from 1st September for the right candidate but happy to wait for the right person.
