Out and about 2nd June

Lots of existing relief chefs and new relief chef out working in Scotland.

Michael George is working at The Station Hotel in Dumfries after doing a long part time stint a Pebbles Spa, Johan Sikkema is coming to an end at The Culloden house Hotel, David Ironside was back over in Arran at The Kinloch Hotel and is now at The Drovers Inn in Memus, Stephen Kessell is still at The Station Hotel in Speyside, Ally Bell is at The Wheatsheaf in Swinton, Stuart Palmer getting excellent feedback from Loch Melfort Hotel, Pawel Halicki is still at Rowardennan Hotel, Roger Brown finished at the Isles of Glencoe and is back at The Queens Hotel Oban, Dmitrij Cvilij is coming to an end at The Torrison Inn, Vytis Baltrunas completed his stint at Eden Court Theatre and is back working at The Creggans Inn, Andrew Stott is loving life in the Highlands at Borgie Lodge, Ionel Rizea got on excellent at The Drovers Inn in Memus, Lillian Clarkson was working close to home at The Ballachulish Hotel, Kirsty Hamilton getting on extremely well in all jobs so far Drovers Inn and Tiroran House.

Out and About 12th May

Sebastien Schoeder who has been known to CIS for over 15 years is currently working a relief sous chef at Kastille Hotel in Turriff, CIS was represented at his wedding.

Stuart MacColl known to CIS for around 10 years and this year has been to Fordie Estate, Bunrannoch House, Auchrannie, Moreig Hotel, Cuilfail Hotel, Ardlui and currently working at Tormaukin he has also got booking for December and August 2017.

David Ironside will be moving house in the next week or so we have also met David, David has been kept busy most of this year working out at Lythe Care Home, The Cairndale Hotel, Tiroran, Glencairn Care Home and Kirkcudbright Bay Hotel.

Phil Smith who is a long standing relief chef who comes every year to CIS golf completion, Phil is currently in to his 3rd week at Langass Lodge in Uist in the Outer Hebries before that he worked for 4 weeks at The Tufted Duck in Fraserburgh.

Graham Smith has been known to CIS for around 10 years and who we have met he also came to CIS golf completion both in Skye and Moffat he is a month in to Y Note bar and grill staying until the end of May.

Alan MacPherson is another long standing relief chef who still enjoys coming to CIS golf competition he was working at The Pierhouse hotel for around 7 months, went back to help out at Loch Insh Watersports for 4 weeks and finishing up at Knockomie House.

A new relief chef to join CIS this year is Andras Rethi who came to meet us in February this year has been kept busy he work for around 8 weeks at the Links Hotel in Montrose, the Dryfesdale hotel for 5 days and 2 weeks spent at The Tufted Duck and is currently at the old manor who have extended his stay.

Pawel Cimek who is very well known to CIS he has moved down to Edinburgh with his family and we got him out to the Scores Hotel and he worked for around 3 months and then has been at Burts Hotel in the Borders where he has been for a 1 month.

There are lots of other placements out and about on relief and thanks for working hard and representing CIS to a high standard.

Out and about Friday 29th April

The available of relief work continues to get busy with around 60 chefs out workling.

Chris Roberti is currently up at Hotel Hebrides working as head chef, Rene La Barre was working at Fonab Castle, Lillian Clarkson was at The Burnett Arms and is now at The Ballachulish hotel, Andras Rethi is finishing a 2 week stint along with Tim Morris at The Tufted Duck, Richard Agnew and Douglas Gillies are over in Fife at The Old Manor Hotel, Billy Steel and Philippe Alamichel are helping out in the Borders at The Lodge at Carfraemill, Graham Smith is at Y Note Bar & Grill in Thurso, new relief chef Dale Haywood is over in Stornoway at The Caladh Inn, Johan Sikkema is at Culloden House Hotel, Gareth Connelly and Ionel Rizea are at The Drovers Inn in Memus, Mark Shaw finished up at The Isles of Glencoe and is now at The Alexandra Hotel, Phil Smith is in Uist at Langass Lodge, Ian Fleming is at The Ferry Boat Inn, David McConnachie is up in Moray at The Stotfield Hotel, Allen Jack back over in Tobermory at MishNish, Craig Whitelaw at Tormaukin Hotel, Tom Williams is back after working a Ski season and went to Loch Melfort Hotel, Piotr Dzidzic helps out last weekend at Hetland Hall, Alastair Kelly at Kastille Hotel and Stuart MacColl is back at Ardlui covering holidays.
