Job description:

Applicants with senior kitchen or FoH experience are preferred. Those with less experience who are passionate, competent and capable will be considered. The position can be adapted to suit a couple.

You will be responsible for the management of a busy restaurant at Sands of Luce Holiday Park. The park is located in an idyllic corner of South West Scotland on the shores of the stunning Luce Bay. With 400 pitches, multiple awards and a high quality grading the park is one of the regions leading tourism accommodation providers in terms of quality and size.

Our location is perfect for those who love the outdoors. Here you will find stunning secluded beaches, forest parks and picturesque villages. If you enjoy the outdoors you will not get bored!

Our restaurant has been refurbished to a very high standard and provides a modern and relaxed atmosphere. We take great pride in the quality and authenticity of the food we serve. Our ethos in simple food done well. Our menu is designed to be exciting and perfect for sharing.

For the past 5 years our kitchen has specialised in thin crust authentic pizzas and organic beef burgers. We are looking to appoint an experienced manager to take our restaurant further. Our recent kitchen extension will allow our kitchen team to develop our offering further.

New for 2021 we have created an outdoor servery and covered eating area called 'The Hatch'. Take away food, coffee, cakes and drinks. Served with a festival/ street food vibe.

The ideal candidate would have kitchen and FoH experience. A love of food and people is essential! This is a highly sociable position. You will have a highlevel of contact with our customers.
No formal qualifications required. Current Scottish Licence holder preferable.

Manage 'The 'Pass' on busy food services. Ensuring our guests get their correct orders in a timely, friendly and professional manor. Quality assurance of food and service.
Staff licence training
Maintain staff training handbooks
Incident/ refusal book
Weekly beer line clean
Cleanliness of cellar, store, bar and all appliances.

You will be expected to work most weekends and holiday periods. You will work 30-50hrs a week .Two back to back days off. No holiday to be taken in July, August and public holidays.
