Salary:Negotiable salary depebding on experience paid weekly plus a share of tips.
Duration:Permanent
Hours:40-50
Days:5 days from 7 then 6 days June to possibly October (extra day is paid)
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:3
Covers:Lunch: up to 40; Dinner: up to 40
Food type:Gastro pub food with daily specials
Full-time chefs:Sole chef - kitchen porter when busy
Accommodation:Single room provided if required with a bathroom - TV and wifi available - meals on duty
Job description:

The hotel has recently been taken over by new owners and we are looking to carry on the traditional feel the Kirkcudbright Bay is well known for.

We are looking for a head chef that can take over our small yet busy kitchen.

A Small but very busy town centre hotel, with a growing reputation for excellence, looking for a Head Chef to maintain and expand on our current trading levels.

We pride ourselves on offering our guests great quality fresh food in a comfortable and relaxed environment with a focus on fresh fish dishes.

We aim to continue expanding our current trading levels, while maintaining quality and service.

As the Head chef you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen. Serving the quality meals we are known for whilst working alongside the owners to create menu's.

Perfect for someone who loves the outdoors as there is plenty hillwalking around. Also a lovely golf course and sea fishing.
