| Job description: | The Kinmount Hotel & Restaurant is a privately owned 6 bedroom hotel in Carrutherstown, 6 miles from Dumfries in the lovely region of Dumfries and Galloway. We are looking for a Chef, or potentially a couple to take over the running of the kitchen and restaurant. We will look after the rooms and the breakfasts. Scope for doing theme nights and to really try and gain a reputation as a Food Destination. Dumfries and Galloway has great excellent local produce to cook with. Hours and shifts to be discussed. This position / lease is available when covid restrictions allow. This is an exciting opportunity to make a name for yourself and to possibly run your own business. The hotel has recently been refurbished as has the kitchen and it is well equipped. A perfect centralised location for many SW Scotland events, amenities and tourist attractions. A lovely location not far from the Scottish Border and a great location to stay and work with excellent amenities close by. |
