Food type:Standard British - all cooked fresh on premises
Full-time chefs:2 chefs + kitchen porter
Accommodation:Available cost negotiable (accommodation will be a ensuite single room in the hotel) meals on duty
Job description:

The Nithsdale Hotel is a privately owned and family-run 12 bedroom hotel situated in Sanquhar 27 miles from Dumfries.

We are looking for a Head Chef to join our team.

You will be in charge of the the day-to-day running of the kitchen this will include stock control, menu planning, ordering and health and safety and hygiene.

This may suit a strong Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their career

We do a lot of very popular themed nights. We are a small hotel with a well-established young front of house team in place.
