Salary:£28,000 negotiable depending on experience paid weekly plus a share of the tips
Hours:approximately 50 hours per week
Days:5 days out of 7 - mixture of shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: up to 120 over lunch and dinner; Functions: Occasional parties for up to 20 covers
Food type:Middle-Eastern inspired street food
Full-time chefs:4 plus a kitchen assistant
Job description:

I am recruiting a head chef for a relatively new restaurant situated in Edinburgh city centre.

Serving Lebanese inspired street food which is all made from scratch daily including vegan and gluten free options including vegan ice creams and desserts.

Looking for someone who is creative and can bring new ideas to the restaurant.

You will have good fresh food experience and will be used to working in a team.

As head chef you will be in charge of the day-to-day running of the kitchen including managing the team.

Ideally you will also have experience in different styles of food.

This position is available now for the right candidate and is a permanent all year round position.
