Job description:

We are looking for a talented and ambitious head chef, with a passion for excellence to lead the kitchen team in our flagship property, the four star Cabarfeidh hotel on the Isle of Lewis. The position of head chef at the Cabarfeidh provides an exciting challenge for an experienced leader.

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchens and ensuring that every dish is of the highest quality. You will also be managing & developing your kitchen team, creating menus and controlling costs. You will be responsible for maintaining the hygiene and safety standards in your kitchen. You will also play a major part in influencing the direction our food business takes and you will be given every opportunity to stamp your mark of quality on our already highly acclaimed establishment.

We are looking for someone that…

Has extensive experience in a high volume kitchen
Is driven and focussed on first class standards across every aspect of the operation.
Has shown loyalty and longevity throughout their career.
Has excellent planning and organisational skills.
Has excellent personal presentation and be consummately professional at all times.
