| Job description: | Looking for a chef to run their own restaurant situated next to a holistic retreat venue in Auchencairn near Castle Douglas. 5 minutes drive from the beach and on the coastal 300 route in an excellent location. The restaurant is licenced and has recently undergone refurbishments which will be completed at the end of this month. Low ingoing costs as there is crockery, cutlery, glasses and some furniture available. The kitchen would need to be kitted out by the tenant or this would be bought in and the costs added to the rent. This would be on a self-employed basis and you would have the restaurant as your own although custom would be guaranteed through the retreats as well as B&B guests and good previous local following as well as good passing trade during peak season. Excellent opportunity for someone to make a name for themselves and capitalise on the local following as well as a large vegan community so this would be beneficial although not essential. |
