Days:5 days per week, mixture of shifts

Food type:busy function trade restaurant and bar. International, Table D'Hote and a la carte menu.
Full-time chefs:up to 7 chefs and kitchen porters

Job description:

A rare opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward thinking Head Chef to join our management team and lead the kitchen brigade in maintaining high standards of food.

The successful candidate will have experience of running high volume kitchens with banqueting along with Restaurant and Café Bar operations.

The Cairndale Hotel has 91 bedrooms, Reivers Restaurant seats up to 100 covers and we offer banqueting for up to 250 with further smaller dining rooms available. We also have the Forum cafe bar as well as further opportunities to develop the food operation.

Leading an established brigade, you will have a proven track record of maintaining GP%, robust kitchen management with HACCP knowledge along with excellent food standards. All of this will be maintained with an ability to train and motivate the team whilst ensuring the laid down wage percentage in place.
