Salary:£14-£16 per hour depending on experience paid either weekly or monthly plus an end of season bonus
Hours:For the chef to organise
Days:5 days a week - closed Mondays and Tuesdays
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: up to 30; Dinner: up to 30; Breakfast: No breakfasts
Food type:Traditional Scottish a la carte using fresh local produce
Full-time chefs:sole chef plus a kitchen porter and help with prep
Accommodation:Own summer house with own room, shower and some cooking facilities - included as part of the package
Job description:

The Oakwood restaurant is a small family-run restaurant situated a 5 minute drive from Inverness. Located in a beautiful setting overlooking the Caledonian Canal.

We are looking for a sole chef to join us for the season.

You will be working mostly on your own and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Serving lots of fresh local produce including lots of fresh fish and seafood such as halibut and langoustine. Working in a small team everyone all works together to help eachother.

Lovely place to work and spend the summer season.

This position is available from the beginning of May until the end of September and you will be paid an end of season bonus on completion of working the season.
