Job description: | Tigh an Eilean Hotel is a 10 bedroom hotel situated in Shieldaig a remote West Coast fishing village location just 60 miles from Inverness. We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our established team. Shieldaig Bar and Coastal Kitchen is located on the sea front in the spectacular working fishing village of Shieldaig. The area is remote and wild and beautiful. We specialise in shellfish delivered from the boats to the kitchen door each day but we have a varied menu including pizzas from a wood-fired oven and there is plenty of scope for you to bring your own ideas as we have daily changing specials. Everything is cooked from fresh on the premises and is gastro pub style. The head chef is Michelin trained so there is also scope to develop your skills You must bring enthusiasm and an ability to cope with a busy service as you will deputise for the head chef on his days off. It is seasonal until end October but there is an opportunity for some work over the winter |
