Salary:£28,000 negotiable depending on experience paid monthly plus a share of good tips
Hours:40 per week annualised hours contract over the year
Days:5 days a week straight shifts
Holidays:31 days per year ( closed Christmas day and closed 1st January for 2 weeks)
Bedrooms:No bedrooms
Covers:Lunch: 100; Dinner: 100; Breakfast: hot rolls from 8am
Food type:simple, clean and elegant using fresh produce from the local area
Full-time chefs:11 including kitchen porters
Accommodation:Live-out - assistance with relocation
Job description:

The Rookery is a newly opened restaurant that is situated in the Carnoustie Golf Links, one of the most iconic golf courses in the world located in Carnoustie, Angus.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a sous chef to join our team and work alongside our head chef.

There is a brand new kitchen in place with top of the line gadgets and we are serving an excellent standard of food all made fresh on site.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar kitchen.

Uniforms are provided and are laundered on site.

We work on an annualised hours contract so any extra hours worked are taken back in lieu in the quieter times.

Excellent location for quality produce including lots of fresh seafood.
