Job description:

The Colonsay Hotel is an outstanding small award-winning hotel on stunning Scottish island. We are is looking for a sous chef for the season to work alongside and cover for the head chef. With a busy bar/pub as well as almost full room occupancy throughout the season, this is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for the next step in their career.

You will have a passion for fresh quality food, a sound knowledge of cooking seafood and game, as well as other local fresh produce. You will have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude and excellent people management skills.

Keeping up to date with all health and hygiene legislation and taking legal responsibility for the kitchen, along with ensuring all health and safety requirements are met is essential.

All holidays to be taken at the end of the season in form of holiday pay apart from the occasional days taken with prior agreement.

This position is available now for the right person and will be until the end of the October.
