Job description: | We are seeking new welcoming faces to join our small and friendly hospitality team in Scotland’s wild north in the small coastal village of Tongue. The position is ideal for a motivated, diligent, and capable chef to play an important part within our small kitchen and work alongside our hospitality team delivering exceptional service and experiences to our guests. The role requires assisting in all facets of the day to day running of our kitchen, including mise en place, cooking, general upkeep of our kitchen areas. Experience is required on a Chef de partie / Junior Sous chef Level. Working together with the Head chef, the role offers the chance to create and produce innovative cuisine utilising local and seasonal produce. We serve dishes inspired by quality Scottish ingredients, supplemented by elements sourced from our garden and foraged in our forests, fields and coastal locations. Key Duties Support the Head Chef and team with the overall day to day smooth running of Lundies Kitchen. Assist with preparation and cooking breakfast, afternoon tea, pack lunches and dinner. Personal Attributes Have a warm and friendly manner. Able to work well as part of small friendly team. Due to the location, hold a current valid driving license or access to transport.
