Salary:Up to £10 per hour paid weekly plus shared tips
Hours:45 - 50
Days:5 days out of 7 - mainly split shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:46 bedrooms
Covers:Lunch: 50; Dinner: 80; Breakfast: 90; Functions: 200
Food type:Modern Scottish, a la Carte and functions
Full-time chefs:6 chefs plus 4 kitchen porters
Accommodation:Own room in staff flats with shared facility
Job description:

The four star Cabarfeidh Hotel is a 46 bedroom hotel with restaurant, meeting rooms and
banqueting facilities. Our banqueting suite and our restaurant, Solas, both
enjoy an excellent reputation with locals and visitors alike. The Cabarfeidh is the flagship
property of the Cala Hotels Group and is the only four star hotel on the
Isle of Lewis.

The Cabarfeidh is currently having substantial renovations to two of the functions rooms. Once completed these will provide modern stylist new dining areas.

We are looking for a talented and ambitious chef de partie to join our team. This is an excellent
opportunity for a confident, hard-working individual to develop their career
further. We take great pride in the provenance of our food, using local suppliers to source us the very best in Hebridean seafood, game and meat and would look for the right candidate to have input into our menu planning.

This position is available for immediate start.
