Salary:£22,000 - £24,000 per annum depending on experience paid fortnightly - tips shared Over time paid for covering holidays

Hours:45 hours per week
Days:5 days from 7 mixed shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)

Covers:Lunch: 50-60; Dinner: 60-80; Breakfast: up to 68 if at full capacity; Functions: none
Food type:mix of traditional favourites and fine dining
Full-time chefs:5 plus 4 KPs
Accommodation:Nice flat, own room with shared Kitchen / Bathroom facility £37 per week
Job description:

Located in the centre of Peebles this busy 36 bedroom hotel with extensive food and beverage facilities is looking to recruit a committed and
ambitious Chef De Partie to join our enthusiastic and talented brigade.
The Role:
As a Chef De Partie, your role will include:

* Developing and learning new recipes.
* Running your own section while ensuring daily preparation and presentations standards are met.
* Complying with all health and safety regulations and hygiene legislation.

The Person:
The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in a similar role and a keen interest in pursuing a culinary career.
* The ability to work in a fast paced and high pressured environment.
* Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
