Salary:Starting £10 per hour - paid monthly - tips
Hours:48 hours per week
Days:5 - 6 days per week
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: 50; Dinner: 50 - 100; Breakfast: 30 - 50; Functions: to 100
Food type:Traditional Scottish Pub Grub
Full-time chefs:4 chefs plus 1-2 kitchen porters
Accommodation:Live in accommodation on site, private bedroom with shared bathroom
Job description:

We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our team within a privately owned family-business based in Blair Atholl, Perthshire. Live in accommodation is available if required. If you have a passion for food, work well within a team in a busy environment then we would love to hear from you. Our chef would work alongside our current team in both the hotels baronial dining hall and our busy Bothy and be responsible for general kitchen duties including: food preparation, cooking and have good knowledge of hygiene practices.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Have a strong knowledge of food hygiene and also health and safety and requirements
- A good knowledge of basic cooking skills
- Assist menu planning and provide new seasonal ideas for the menus
- Be familiar with ordering, stock rotation and wastage
- Daily cleaning and temperature management in kitchen
- Good team-work and communication skills
