Salary:hourly negotiable rate - depending on experience, paid monthly with share of tips
Hours:15-20 hours per week
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: 20 - 30; Dinner: 50 - 120; Breakfast: 100 - 250; Functions: None
Food type:Traditional brasserie, Restaurant and Room Service utilising fresh, local produce with menu changing quarterly.
Full-time chefs:8 chefs plus 3 kitchen porters

Commis Chef
Holiday Inn Aberdeen Exhibition Centre - Bridge of Don

The hotel is located in Bridge of Don, on the outskirts of Aberdeen adjacent to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference centre.

With an 60 seater bar/restaurant that accommodates residents from the Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Exhibition Centre as well as our own residents.

Offering extensive restaurant, room service and bar menus , changed quarterly.

As a Commis Chef you will assist the Chef de Partie in food preparation and organisation within the kitchen.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will contribute to the smooth running of your section by preparing and presenting food to a high standard, maintaining hygiene practices and actively developing your kitchen skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate should have a good eye for attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure is essential. You should also have a high standard of personal presentation.

Flexibility of hours available to suit the ideal candidate. Ideally working 15 to 20hrs a week depending on the business needs
