Salary:Negotiable depending on experience paid monthly plus tips
Hours:45 - 50
Days:5 days out of 7 - mixed shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: 40 to 50; Dinner: up to 120; Breakfast: You will not be required to do breakfast; Functions: Up to 90 - new function suite
Food type:1AA rosette traditional a la carte and early bird menu
Full-time chefs:7 plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:Live out 7 miles from Edinburgh city centre
Job description:

The Sun Inn is a 1 rosette 6 bedroom inn situated 7 miles from Edinburgh city centre, just outside of Dalkeith.

We are looking for a commis chef to join our team.

We are a well-established business and we are looking for someone with a good attitude and willingness to learn.

You will get very good training as we make everything from scratch. You will work in all corners of the kitchen and learn how to make bread, ice creams and sauces.

There is a new induction kitchen in place with all new gadgets.
