Portmahomack (Tarbat) Golf Club is situated in the picturesque village of Portmahomack, on the shores of the Dornoch Firth. It lies just nine miles off the main A9 Inverness - Wick route which forms a major part of the “North Coast 500” - a new and exciting circular route around the Highlands of Scotland and named one of the top coastal road trips in the world. In close proximity are the historical towns of Tain (10 miles) and Dornoch (21 miles), with Inverness only 40 miles away. Located in one of the driest areas in Scotland, Portmahomack is well known in Easter Ross because of its scenic nature, safe beach and local facilities.

We are looking for a cook to cater for golfers, tourists and locals alike, producing a tasty but simple cafe/gastro style menu. The right candidate will have excellent organisational skills with focus on customer satisfaction.

This role would suit someone local to the area however accommodation can be offered at a cost of £50 per week which would include Wifi and all bills. The role would be ideal for someone looking to take the step up and running their own small kitchen or indeed looking for somewhere with attractive working hours in a beautiful part of Scotland.

Our sister kitchen (5 minutes away) and team of chefs will also assist with food preparation and there is scope to add to the kitchen team should the need arise.

The Garden Cafe at Traquair is set in the grounds of Scotland's Oldest Inhabited House.

The Cafe services visitors and locals. Set in the old Walled Garden it is an attractive Cafe with large kitchen.

We are looking for a Cook to work in a team of two.

This is a seasonal position and accommodation can be provided.

May suit a single cook / chef or a couple.

Lovely location in the Scottish Borders and not far from Edinburgh.

Plenty to do on time off.

Emphasis is on good baking and use of local produce.
