Out and About Friday 11th June

We currently have 35 relief chefs out working with 9 jobs confirmed for the week so far

We have had some new chefs register for relief work, chased up references and booked to start new jobs, some returning chefs also booked out (Welcome Back!)
There are over 160 jobs on the website some are permanent all year round and some seasonal, you are looking to get registered please email your up to date CV and reference details to jojo@chefsinscotland.co.uk
Craig Eggers is staying put at The Old Colfin Creamery in Port Patrick for at least another 4 weeks he was previously at The Glenburn Hotel before Covid
Keren Tweedie helped out at Springkell before returning for a 2nd stint at The Bridge of Cally Hotel in Blairgowrie
Ryan Williamson went to help at The Kinloch Lodge before returning to The Drovers Inn, Loch Lomond and then is heading back up to help at Kinloch to the end of the season, Ryan picked up some work as a delivery driver during Covid
Nice to have Stuart MacColl back also albeit for a few days here and there at The Old Manse of Blair, Stuart started working night shift at his local Tesco Store in Perth
Michael George is at Ballachulish Hotel during lockdown he started a little business making and selling pies which was a big hit to all his locals
A lot of our long standing relief chefs were able to find other means of work during a very difficult time some have stayed where they are and some have happily came back on the circuit – seeing Scotland again and enjoying meeting different people and working in differing environments
