Front Of House, Accounts/Finance Manager - Cairndale Hotel & Leisure Club, Dumfries and Galloway

We are currently offering a rare opportunity to join our team as an Accounts Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an Accounts Manager in a large turnover business dealing within a retail or hospitality sector. Operating a solid and robust team, the Accounts Manager will be able to lead and motivate their team as well as being able to work to ensure the financial information and reconciliations are carried out as required by the Senior Management of the business.

Knowledge of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Payroll, Transaction control, bank reconciliations and Stock Control are a pre-requisite. Along with this, proven skills in VAT reconciliation, production of P&L and Balance Sheets and Gross Profit Analysis would be advantageous.

Whilst a Hotel background is not essential it would certainly be an advantage as well as operating with Hotel PMS systems.

Use of the following systems would be beneficial: Sage Payroll, Fidelio PMS systems, EPOS systems and Microsoft Office Suite of programmes.

The position will involve managing a team of 3 to produce all reports and information in timely fashion and act as a control for the Hotel Operations.
