Salary:up to £35,000 per annum paid weekly, plus tips

Days:5 days out of 7 mixed shifts
Holidays:6 weeks pro rata - majority of holidays to be taken outwith season but ok to take some days in season
Bedrooms:10 bedrooms
Covers:Lunch: to 40; Dinner: Up to 80; Breakfast: to 20; Functions: none
Food type:Quality Table d'hote menu and Bistro with lots of seafood
Full-time chefs:3 - 4 chefs plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:Own self contained caravan on site - part of package.
Job description:

Tigh an Eilean Hotel is a 10 bedroom hotel situated in Shieldaig a remote West Coast fishing village location just 60 miles from Inverness.

We are looking for a Head Chef to join a young and friendly team.

As head chef you will be in charge of the day-to-day running of the kitchen including health and safety and hygiene, stock control and ordering.

Using lots of fresh local seafood you will have input into menus plus regularly changing specials.

This would suit a strong sous chef looking for their first head chef position or an established head chef.

This position can either be permanent or seasonal through until the end of October.

Situated in a lively village with plenty to do on time off.
