Salary:£34,000 salary paid monthly with £1,000 bonus on successful 6 months, £1,500 on achieving  2nd rosette, £1,000 on achieving GP's and happy customers and staff relationship
Duration:Permanent
Hours:50 hours per week
Days:5 out of 7 days - mixed shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:30 bedrooms
Covers:Lunch: up to 40; Dinner: up to 60; Breakfast: up to 50; Functions: up to 120
Food type:High Quality restaurant and bistro
Full-time chefs:4 full time chefs and 1 part time chefs plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:Accommodation available short term - will help source when settled
Job description:

I am recruiting for an experienced Head Chef for a privately owned hotel in the Highlands.

You will run all aspects of the kitchen including ordering, stock control, kitchen hygiene & safety regulations, creating menus and rotas.

They are looking for a special person with excellent skills .

This chef will maximise the use of local produce when available.

You will have a passion about your work and creative ideas when presenting  tasty food to a very high standard.

Ideally looking to gain further Rosettes.

The cooking is one thing, they need a person who can run the kitchen at a highly professional level, value the customer and give them what they want.

Train, coach and mentor their team and other members of staff

Previous experience with a proven track record required, showing a knowledge of budgets and GP’s
