Salary:£30,000 per annum negotiable paid monthly plus tips. Bonus scheme to be discussed.
Hours:40 – 48 per week
Days:5 days per week
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:Up to 120 covers per day

Full-time chefs:6 plus 2 kitchen porters

Job description:

I am looking for a Head Chef for a Authentic Spanish Restaurant in Glasgow City Centre.

You must be passionate about quality food and gastronomy, with the right work ethic and managerial skills and to bring the best Spanish culinary experience to Glasgow.

Ideally you will come from a similar operational background, cooking with fresh ingredients, and ideally within the Spanish cuisine . You must have experience in managing a team in an effective and professional manner.

You will need to encourage team work and professional growth within your team. As head chef you will oversee the whole kitchen operations, from daily mise en place to service, ensuring dishes are always prepared to the highest standards.

You will also be in charge of effective stock rotation and cost control, from orders through to stock counts, wastage, portioning and service standards.

A good understanding of health and hygiene and food safety is a must.

Open Monday to Saturday between 11.30am and 11pm and close early on a Sunday at 6pm.

This position is available now for the right candidate and is a permanent all year round position.
