Salary:Up to £30,000 negotiable depending on experience paid monthly plus tips
Hours:approximately 45 hours per week
Days:5 days per week mixed shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: up to 50; Dinner: up to 60; Breakfast: No breakfasts
Food type:Good quality a la carte using local produce made fresh on the premises
Full-time chefs:A team of chefs plus kitchen porters

Job description:

Cawdor Tavern is a family run restaurant situated in Nairn, 15 miles east from Inverness.

Looking for a head chef who can keep the excellent reputation the restaurant has for quality fresh produce.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen including health, safety and hygiene, stock control, menu planning and rotas. Working with a friendly team that is already in place.

You will have full input into the menus and an excellent opportunity to work with lots of fresh local produce.

Excellent facilities in the area including world famous beaches and golf courses.
