Salary:Up to £45,000 depending on experience
Hours:6 weeks on 3 weeks off
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:up to 50 guests and 38 crew
Food type:3,3,3 Table D'Hote Menu plus soup course for dinner - very good quality
Full-time chefs:5 in the brigade
Accommodation:Accommodation provided on the boat but is only available while working
Job description:

Chefs In Scotland is recruiting for a head chef for a luxury cruise ship which sails from the west coast of Scotland. The dock changes but is usually either Oban or Greenock and transport will be arranged and paid for to and from the vessel.

This is a purpose-built cruise ship touring the Western Isles of Scotland.

We are looking for a chef who ideally already has STCW qualifications but happy to pay for this one week course for the right candidate.

Working 6 weeks on and 3 weeks off.

Looking for someone who has experience in 4/5* hotels or experience of working in a similar environment. You will be in charge of the day to day running of the kitchen using lots of local, fresh produce.
