Salary:£23,000 - £24,500 salary - paid fortnightly with a share of tips

Hours:45 hours per week
Days:5 days from 7 - 2 split and 3 straight shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)

Full-time chefs:4 plus a breakfast chef plus 3 Kitchen Porters
Accommodation:Yes own en suite room with a shared staff kitchen, TV and Wi-Fi. Meals provided on duty. £40 per week
Job description:

Coul House is a classic Scottish Country House just 17 miles north of Inverness city centre; with a fabulous reputation for its innovative food and service.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic chef who wishes to develop their skills working alongside some very patient experienced chefs, some of which have worked here for over fifteen years.

You will assist in all areas of food preparation including baking, grilling and larder work. You will have had at least two years of experience in cooking and be able to cover various corners of the kitchen once training has been given.

Conversational English will be necessary to ensure safety in the kitchen and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

We are open year round although we do close for a few days to enjoy a Christmas break.
