The Machrihanish Golf Club is a private members club that provides a warm welcome to its members and visiting golfers & their non-playing friends & families to use the clubhouse. We have a new modern built clubhouse with wonderful views across the atlantic. We have a great team

Job description:

Commis Chef -
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our team. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a dynamic restaurant & bar setting, we would love to hear from you.
What we are looking for Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Accommodation provided
A single room en-suite will be provided in one of the staff lodges on the holiday home park. Electricity requires to be paid for as you use it via a card meter. A security deposit is required for your accommodation, which is taken at £100 per week for the first two weeks. We require a 2 /4 week trial period, which is fully paid.
Hours & Salary

40/50 hours per week. £13.00 per hour
