Job description:

The Summer Isles Hotel is a unique hotel, restaurant and bistro / bar set in a landscape of sea, mountains and islands on the far north-west coast of the Scottish Highlands. We reflect the splendour of our surroundings in everything that we do.

Bar Manager
We are looking for a Manager for our Bistro bar and Restaurant lounge. This person must be dedicated to caring for our guests, and also be able to diplomatically stand her or his ground if required. Knowledge of and experience in the use and care of coffee machines and beer lines is vital. You will also be required to serve in the Bistro and Restaurant. Giving our guests the best experience possible is most important to you. You are passionate about the food our Kitchen produces and the wines and other drinks we serve.

Previous hospitality / restaurant / bar / people experience is vital.

You must be able to work in the UK.

This position is a seasonal position and duration of the contract is approximately 7 months. The contract is set to begin in April 2021, but this is dependent upon COVID regulations. The end date is 30 October 2021, at least.
Pay range is up to £33,000 per annum, pro rata, paid monthly and based on experience.
There is a possibility to have a room in our shared team home at a cost of £125 per month.
You will also be entitled to a share of tips, one family staff meal per day, contribution to uniform, staff discounts in our restaurants, required training and statutory holiday.
