Salary:Package • Salary circa £26,000-28,500 subject to experience (includes bonus scheme) • Live in accommodation available • Meals on duty • Share of the tronc • Quarterly performance reviews in 1st year thereafter every 6 months • Clothing/uniform allowance annually

Days:5 days mixture of shifts closed Monday and Tuesday

Covers:Lunch: to 45; Dinner: to 60; Breakfast: none; Functions: can do takeaway to 40
Food type:Modern fresh - using josper grill and wood-fired pizzas, everything is made fresh on the premises
Full-time chefs:3 chefs plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:Temporary accommodation available - room in shared house shared with two other people - £45 per week including Wi-Fi
Job description:

The Three Lemons, Aberfeldy is a busy modern bistro style eatery in the heart of Aberfeldy catering to both locals and visitors. Currently operating Wednesday to Sunday with both Monday & Tuesday being days off for all the team.
We are looking for a special individual who can lead by example, has exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of the job, has a good food and beverage knowledge and a passion for good customer service. High on our list of priorities is to find a leader who will no be scared of mucking in and leading from the front, who understands the balance between what staff need and what the owner requires and can balance the two of these needs without any drama or fanfare.
Key responsibilities.
• Ability to lead by example by managing proactively with the ability maximise profit and revenue
• Must prioritize staff retention and staff communication (weekly/daily meetings)
• Excellent communication skills especially during busy pressurised times
• Good computer and Epos knowledge and Restaurant Booking System
• Ability to deal with issues in their early stages & not let things develop into larger issues
• Has impeccable time keeping & personal grooming standards
• Must be able to uphold and deliver on company philosophy and service standards
• Ability to nurture and build a great team
• Must always be consistent in the way they deal with staff & customers alike
• Be able to manage a rota and keep it in line with business needs and service standards
• Must be able to be accurate and accountable for all cash up’s and opening/closing procedures
• Must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Covid-19 protocol relating to running a restaurant
• Be able to maintain an accurate paper trail for all health & safety on the property
• To produce daily shift reports and weekly reports for the owners
• Monitor all maintenance issues and report these to the owners timeously
Should ideally have some of the following skill sets.
• At least 1-3 years of good quality restaurant management experience
• Personal licence holder (optional)
• Level 2 food & hygiene(optional
• Good bar/cocktail/spirits knowledge
• Good wine knowledge
• Good knowledge of food
