Salary:Salary up to £25,000 for the right candidate
Days:Shifts will be varied, working 5 days out of 7, usually with 2 consecutive days off
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: 80; Dinner: 100; Breakfast: 20

Job description:

A position has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join our awesome team here at Ynot.

Opened in 2007, Ynot is independently owned and has firmly established itself as the hub for locals and visitors looking for fantastic quality food and drink.

We are open all day, every day, serving food from 8.00am through to 9.00pm with 120 seated over 2 levels. Our cool, comfortable décor and relaxed environment make the venue suitable for everything from a casual drink, a quick lunch or a formal evening meal. Adjacent to the main restaurant, we also have a small traditional pub – The Grove Lounge – which has a regular customer base, is dog friendly and has occasional live music. Above the restaurant are 6 en-suite guest rooms which are let out year round and during the summer months, usually runs at 100% occupancy levels.

We take a great deal of pride in what we do and aim to provide the best eating and drinking experience in the North of Scotland and we rely on our highly trained staff to make this happen. With that in mind, we are looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team and assist the General Manager with the smooth running of the business.
About the role:

As a member of our management team you will have:
• Good leadership skills to ensure the team is working efficiently and generally, everything is running well when you are on shift.
• Great organisational skills.
• The confidence to have the ability to deal with any issues that may arise.
• A passion for the trade and an eye for detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Military cleaning standards – we pride ourselves on our cleanliness.
• A good sense of humour.

Experience is vital for this position, and we are asking for applicants only with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the hospitality trade to apply.
