Job description: | The Robert Parker Collection includes six specially selected properties, located in magnificent surroundings, offering our guests a luxurious experience in a home away from home. Our properties are located in NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB To undertake the cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms and public areas to a quality standard and to ensure all room facilities are working. To check rooms to the minimum standard required by the hotel and rectify if standard is below company standard expectations. To stock all linen and cleaning cupboards daily. RESPONSIBILITIES · To service public areas to a high quality as directed by the housekeeper. · To service guest bedrooms to the required standard within the time frame as set out by the company at all times · Replace and restock all items provided for guest use within each room and bathroom. · To strip and make bed to a quality standard following the trained procedure at all times. · Service of Bathrooms, empty and wash bins, clean bath, shower, basin, toilet and shelves. Vacuum and wash floors polish all glass and mirrored surfaces to the highest quality standard. · Vacuum bedrooms and bathroom floors to remove all debris including all corridors and stairs. Change dust bags when necessary. · Dust and polish all hard surfaces to a quality sheen using appropriate cleaning chemicals. This also applies to surfaces in corridors. · High dust for cobwebs. · Ensure all linen (linen to be placed on shelves not left in bags) and cleaning cupboards are well stocked at all times. · All linen to be counted and bagged then taken to linen cages. · Linen count to be documented in linen book. · Laundry room must be kept tidy at all times Hotel Linen to put into machines and washed and dried as loads are created. (this is everyone’s responsibility) Dressing Gowns 50degree and Mattress Protectors 30degree these must be washed separately and not together. Drying Dressing Gowns programme D [needs done twice], Mattress Protectors programme F · Report promptly any lost property, room defects, scuffs and fabric damage including equipment and light bulbs to department manager, and ensure it is correctly logged correct books for documenting are at the reception desk. · To be aware of and comply with statutory requirements regarding the work place such as health and safety, hygiene, fire prevention, manual handling and chemicals and other substances that may be hazardous to your health. · To carry out any other reasonable duty to assist in the smooth running of the hotel. Occasional Duties · To carry out regular deep cleaning of all areas of the hotel as directed by the Housekeeper · To wash and iron guests personal laundry. · To move guests luggage to other rooms |
