Salary:£18,200 per year paid monthly plus tips

Hours:45 hour
Days:5 days from 7 - mainly straight shifts with the odd split shift
Holidays:the hotel is closed 10th December and re-opens 27th December (there is the chance to work for the 1st week to clean down)

Food type:Simple seasonal menu 12.30pm - 6.30pm - 5/5/5 Table d'hote 2 AA Rosette
Full-time chefs:5 chefs plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:Single room in shared staff house - 2 miles from hotel with a good bus service charged at approx £45 per week
Job description:

Knockderry House Hotel is a 15 bedroom 4 star 2 AA Rosette Country House Hotel situated in Helensburgh.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional kitchen porter to join our friendly team.

Your duties will consist of assisting the experienced team with the day-to-day running of the kitchen including health, safety and hygiene, wastage and managing the cleaning cycle.

Full training will be provided however some experience in a similar environment would be preferred.
