Job description:

Kirkcaldy based Lazy Sunday are looking for an energetic Event Chef to create fabulous seasonal feasts for our weddings at some of the best venues in Scotland.

Event chef Responsibilities include:

Maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget
Working with and guiding sous chef on prep
Cooking at venue on events day
Tastings
Menu Creation in conjunction with business owner
We are looking for a flexible and hardworking Event Chef who most importantly appreciates that in events catering it is 'all hands on deck', so are willing to help with everything from food prep ad service to helping set up and disassemble the kitchen at the end of the event. You need to be punctual, reliable, able to use your own initiative, calm and a good team player. Also you will:

Have a relevant level of experience within quality kitchens
Hold either an NVQ level 3, 7061/2 or equivalent qualifications
Have a clean driving licence and be prepared to drive our delivery van to mainly Perthshire venues
Have a positive attitude and work ethic.
This Events Chef role also comes with workplace pension, 28 days holiday (inc bank holidays) and flexible working arrangements.
