Salary:Attractive Salary Available - paid monthly plus good tips - meals on duty - discounts on 260 hotels across the world
Hours:40 - 45 hours per week
Days:5 days from 7 - straight shifts - 12 to 8pm - 3pm to finish
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Dinner: 70 - 110 over lunch and dinner; Breakfast: 40 - 50; Functions: up to 110
Food type:Fresh wholesome bar meals and restaurant
Full-time chefs:5 chefs plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:live out - driver is essential
Job description:

The Garfield Hotel is a busy 3 star 47 bedroom hotel situated in Stepps just 8 miles from Glasgow City Centre.

We are looking for a hands on experienced Head Chef to join our close knit team.

You will be in charge of the day to day running of the busy kitchen working closely with our Executive Chef.
Duties will include - ordering, stock control, training junior staff, rotas, menu planning, health, safety and hygiene.

Working for an established company.

We have a new outside dinning area that serves between 70 - 90 covers.

Volume/banqueting experience would be desired although not essential.

Genuine work life balance.

Must be a driver due to location.
