Salary:Hourly rate negoitable in region of £16 per hour , paid monthly plus tips.
Hours:40 to 50 depending upon season, happy to pay by the hour
Days:5 from 7 mixed mostly straights
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: nothing at moment can develop; Dinner: 20 up to 40 more in season; Breakfast: 20 up to 40
Food type:Scottish - Restauant and keen to develop the bar trade
Full-time chefs:2 full time and 1 part time + kitchen porters
Accommodation:get a house with all bills and utilities paid three bedroom semi detached fully furnished en site
Job description:

The Brae Hotel is a privately owned 35 bedroom hotel in a busy rural village in Shetland.

We are looking for a Head Chef with enthusiasm for food to join our friendly and stable team.

As the Head Chef you will be responsible for all aspects of running the kitchen such as stock ordering, menu writing, rotas, cooking, all asapects of health and safety. .

We are closed over Christmas and we re open our doors again as of the 6th January.

The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable, able to be a team member and at all times behave in a professional manner.

This position is available from the start of January and is a permanent all year round position.
