Salary:Starting £32,000 per annum for first 3 months then wage increase to £35,000 paid monthly with tips - meals on duty
Duration:Permanent
Hours:minimum 45 hours per week
Days:5 days from 7 mixture of shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:30
Covers:Lunch: Saturday and Sunday only looking to develop from March; Dinner: 10 - 45; Breakfast: 10 - 45; Functions: group bookings up to 50 - functions/events to 120
Food type:Freshly made - Modern British with Scottish seasonal ingredients
Full-time chefs:3-4 chefs plus 2 kitchen porters
Accommodation:Accommodation may be available for the right candidate
Job description:

The Glenesk Hotel is a 30 bedroom 4 star hotel situated in Edzell in Angus just 30 miles from Dundee.

Under new ownership since May 2021 - and is going through a year long refurbishment

We are looking for a Head Chef to join our team, you will be in control of the kitchen (menu planning, ordering, stock, rotas, health, safety and Hygiene)

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a name for yourself, you will have great passion with a strong work ethic.

Experience in functions and events is essential

Very strong supportive owners with 25 years experience in hospitality.

Lots to do on days off such as fishing, golfing and walking.
